With more than 100 registered clubs and organizations at Lamar University, students can easily pursue almost any interest. And if a relevant club does not already exist, students can always start a new one.

New Student Orientation, hosted every summer, is is an opportunity to become acclimated to Lamar. Week of Welcome welcomes new and current students back with school with a variety of academic and social events the weekend prior to school.
The Freshman Year Experience is a unique leadership experience designed to assist incoming freshmen develop leadership skills during their first year at Lamar.
