Leadership Workshop: What's Your Social Style?

12:30 pm - 1:30 pm, Galloway 116
How do you describe people? What is your personality? How do other people respond to your social style? Does this affect your ability to be a leader? Identifying our social styles helps us know how to work best with others, especially in leadership. We’ll take a personality assessment to learn how and why we naturally behave the way we do, and how we can use that information to understand and lead others well.

If you had one story to share with the world, what would you say? Dear World is an award-winning portrait project that explores the subtle and powerful connections between students, faculty and staff. Come tell your story in distinct message-on-skin style portraits.

Be sure to attend the storytelling session where you get to hear the stories of a few fellow students and get to see your photo!


The Big Event

9:00 am, Montagne Center
The Big Event is the largest, one-day, student-run service project in the nation. Come out and show your appreciation to the surrounding community, completing service projects such as yard work, window washing, and painting for agencies who serve the greater community of South East Texas.
