Leadership Development programming serves as a resource on campus for student leadership development and partners with others to train, educate, and develop students for purposeful leadership. Leadership programming offers enrolled undergraduate and graduate students a variety of opportunities to advance their personal and professional skills, increase self-confidence and self-awareness, and network with other outstanding students. There is a wide range of programming offered to meet the leadership development needs of the diverse Lamar University student population.
The Student Leadership Conference is held each Spring semester and is open to all LU students. Workshops give attendees opportunities to develop their skills as emerging leaders. Past guest speakers include Olympians, LU alumni, and more.
